My Jail Cell VIP Inmates and Other Players

Nine people share a mall. VIP buys a catalog. Neither one is a license to open your door after dusk.

VIP Inmates

My Jail Cell is online. Servers list a max of 9 players. That is co-op when you split the daytime route, and it is noise when someone else sprints past your bars at night. VIP is the 289 Robux catalog pass (401+ Premium Items on Rolimon). This page is about people, not beagles — though VIP rows in the pet store are why the topics share a hub.

What VIP actually buys

VIP is not god mode. It is a giant furniture and cosmetic catalog, sometimes with VIP-tagged animals. It does not replace Never Hungry, it does not seal a door, and it does not make monsters polite. Buy it when the free mall bores you. If a lobby flexes VIP and you feel poor, look at their door, not their neon. An unsealed VIP mansion is still a hallway with extra posters.

X-Ray (99) and Instant Pickup (29) are the passes that change how a neighbor moves. X-Ray players peek without peeking. Instant Pickup players empty aisles faster. Neither is an excuse to grief. If someone vacuums every +9 beanbag, run the route earlier, not meaner.

Daytime: nine inmates, one mall

Split jobs if you queued with friends: mall, cafeteria, Cell Depot. Randoms will not split jobs. They will stand in the adopt prompt and drag the same couch you wanted. Play around them:

  • Take the next S-tier piece on the furniture list instead of emote-fighting.
  • Use a cart / Dolly so you need fewer trips.
  • Do not block Cell Depot lamps as a joke. The lights update already made that aisle busy.

Voice chat is not supported on the official listing. Coordinate in Roblox text or Discord. The links hub is where official channels belong, not a random “VIP trade” server.

Night: monsters and people

Creator commentary says beware monsters or other people at night. That line matters. A silhouette in the hall might be:

  • A tall patrol (slender-style, “basketball at 3am,” mall “baby head,” guards — names from player comments, not a studio bestiary).
  • A VIP inmate who thinks they can loot one more lamp.
  • You, if you peek.

Do not open the door to identify the difference. The night checklist does not have a “let the rich kid in” step. If you pre-agreed to hide together, be inside before dusk. Mid-night reunions are how bunkers fail.

If another player can damage you, treat them like a patrol: quiet, out of sight, wait. If they cannot, they can still attract a patrol with run spam. Your job is not to educate them through the bars.

Co-op that actually helps

Help is a daytime activity. Stack furniture in one agreed hide room. Share food piles. Do not share one corner with four cameras clipping. After sunrise, split again. That is how 9-player servers beat solo clock pressure without turning night into a party.

Scripts that fling or freeze other inmates are grief tools. They belong in the “do not” column of executor safety. This is a hide game. If you need to dominate a lobby, you picked the wrong genre.

VIP is a shop row. Nine is a number. The monster does not care about either. Seal the door.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common My Jail Cell questions.

How many players are in a My Jail Cell server?

The official experience lists a maximum of 9. You share the mall and the night with whoever filled those slots.

Does VIP make you safer at night?

No. VIP is a premium catalog. Safety is a sealed room, food, and silence.

Can other players kill me?

Treat other inmates as a night hazard either way. They can attract patrols and block doors even when they are not a PvP class.

Should I hide with randoms?

Only if you agreed before dusk and they are already inside. Opening the door at night to add a stranger is how bunkers fail.
