My Jail Cell Daytime Scavenge Route

A repeatable daylight loop so coziness, hunger, and pets all move before the clock does.

Daytime Route

Daytime is the only productive half of My Jail Cell. If you wander, you will photograph a cactus and then die poor. This route is a pin order. Customize it after you learn the map, but do not skip food.

Default loop (early game)

  1. Spawn, claim, codes. Grab daily rewards if the UI is up. Press B only if the codes hub shows a verified string. Then leave the cell.
  2. Mall first. High-coziness pieces beat lamps and pets on night one. Beds, beanbags, big tables. Read numbers; a crate at +6 loses to a +9 chair. Full ranking: furniture tier list. Drag, do not window-shop.
  3. Cafeteria / Burger Kingdom. Footage shows burger stacks and a grill you can even steal. Hunger is why people break cover. Bank more than one meal.
  4. Home to place. Empty your hands. Rotate with the in-game handle (creators mash E / G until it sticks — see controls). Block the hide doorway before you go out again.
  5. Second trip only if the sky is still honest. Cell Depot lamps or the pet store, never both, until you own a cart or Dolly.
  6. Hide corner, then stop. Run the night checklist while it is still light enough to see the stack.

Mid-game loop (rooms already opening)

Once you are past the ~25 coziness gate (unlock rooms):

  • Add Cell Depot as pin 2.5 if you want lights for the new room, not for the bunker.
  • Add pet store on days you are not fighting a threshold. Free/cheap beagles first; VIP and exotics later.
  • Add armory / weapons only after food and a sealed door exist. A rifle does not replace a couch in the doorway.
  • Split jobs in a 9-player lobby: one mall, one food, one depot. That is the actual co-op skill, not sharing a hide closet with three people breathing.

Hands, carts, and Dolly

Creators mention carts outside with your profile so you can haul like a “smooth criminal.” Use them. The Carry 10+ Items (Dolly) pass is the paid version of that idea for 49 Robux. Instant Pickup (29) is the lazy cousin. Neither is required. Two clean mall trips beat one overloaded trip that strands you in the parking lot at dusk.

What to ignore until later

  • Wall paint and RGB cell lights. Pretty, not structural.
  • Plushie aisle before a bed. Coziness per trip matters.
  • Exotic toucan / penguin / schnauzer passes. They are identity, not night armor. See exotic pets.
  • Auto turret at ~2,000 cash on night one. That cash is food and time.

Clock discipline

Look at the sky after every pin. The game’s whole trick is that the mall is interesting. The mall is also how you die. If orange hits during pin 3, skip depot and pets. A sealed + fed cell with 18 coziness beats an open cell with 40 and no burgers.

When a patch adds a new aisle, insert it after mall and food, not before. That is how the lights update should have been played, and it is how the next shop row should be played too. Then hide. Morning starts the loop again.

If you want the why, not the order, read getting started and how to get furniture. This page is the sequence you actually run.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common My Jail Cell questions.

What should I loot first each day?

Mall furniture with the highest coziness you can carry, then cafeteria food. Lamps and pets are later pins.

When do I add Cell Depot to the route?

After you can seal a room and feed yourself with time left. Lights are for rooms you already own.

Is the Dolly pass required for this route?

No. Carts and two trips work. Dolly is a convenience pass if you hate walking.

Should friends split the route?

Yes in a full 9-player server. One mall, one food, one depot. Meet in the hide room before dusk.
